Marie-Pier Jobin has been a project manager at Canmec-MIGC since January 2018 and is an entrepreneur by night. With 5 other women, she established a business that sells products for families and for persons of all ages made by local artisans, it is called La Vitrine Familiale which loosely translates to ‘A window to family’.
La Vitrine Familiale, is above all, composed of mothers from across the province of Quebec who want to improve the day-to-day living of local families in their own way!
The main objective of this small business is to showcase high quality products made in Canada.
In constant search for new artisans, designers and producers who offer original and practical products, we thought that we could share our findings with other families with the same interests. We also consume responsibly and exercise thoughtful purchasing. It is to promote local sourcing that we chose to encourage Quebec and Canadian artisans.
Selected products can be purchased through: www.lavitrinefamiliale.com
Or via its Facebook page: La Vitrine Familiale
It is also possible to see our ‘mobile windows’. These show you our favourite products and allow you to actually see and touch them before making a decision.
Presentations are held in an open room around a cup of coffee or a mimosa. You can also become a member of La Vitrine in order to receive discounts and participate in exclusive presentations in the comfort of a location of your choosing.
